TIPS and ADVICE
We covered quite a bit today. Could you list 3 suggestions or tips you would recommend to indie devs based on our discussion?
- Don’t panic about buying insurance, just being aware of the risks is 90% of the battle. Don’t be afraid to ask questions.
- Have a friendly lawyer you can reach out to. Most will give some time for free. Don’t be afraid to call them as they can save a TON of hassle later down the line
- If you are outsourcing work, check if THEY have decent insurance? If something goes wrong with your project because of them, can they deal with a lawsuit? It’s ok to ask to see their policy.
