TIPS and ADVICE
We covered quite a bit today. Could you list 3 suggestions or tips you would recommend to indie devs based on our discussion?
- Read-up, think hard and set aside some time to work on it – but make sure it serves you not restricts you. It’s a tool, just make sure you are ready to use it.
- Collaborate with the rest of your team – use it as an opportunity to make sure you’re on the same page and get outside help from advisors, friends and experts. Get some diversity in that group but know that you won’t and shouldn’t please everyone or be all things to all people.
- If it asks you to take tough decisions about the direction you are going in and who you are working with, then good. Do not be afraid to take them and don’t put them off.
